Corporate Whale Watching & Angling Tours

We provide Whale and Dolphin Watching Tours in West Cork for your company or corporate day out. A great way for teams to bond watching whales, dolphins and other marine wildlife or entertain clients on a tailor made excursion. Let us search for whales and dolphins on the open ocean or perhaps travel to Kinsale along the majestic coastal scenery, observing wildlife along the way. After docking in Kinsale, why not tour the town of Kinsale or dine in one of their many top class restaurants. The return to Courtmacsherry can be by sea or bus transport can be arranged. Angling charters are also available for half or full days if you wish to take a group fishing with one of our experienced skippers. Fishing equipment is available to hire.

Join us on the water as we depart Courtmacsherry harbour and take in from Galley Head to the Old Head with a 40 mile round trip taking in Coolim cliffs, Dunworley Castle and Clonakilty Bay.

Corporate Tour FAQs

The Lady Catherine boat can cater for groups of 39 passengers per boat trip with an additional 2 crew on board to look after the groups safety and make it an enjoyable experience. The Lady Patricia can be chartered for a group of 12 passengers.

A bespoke wildlife tour can be arranged for a corporate group pending availability, season, etc. Our whale watching tours are a minimum 3 – 4 hours. A fishing charter is a half day booking.

Please ensure you are dressed appropriately for the weather whether sunny or cold. Make sure to wear a windproof/waterproof jacket, suitable outdoor footwear, appropriate hat, water and snacks as the trip is up to 4 hours long.

On our marine wildlife tours, we often encounter the wading birds including oyster catchers, bar-tailed and black-tailed godwit, whimbrel, curlew, grey plover, dunlin, redshank, grey herons, egrets, several species of duck and at certain times of the year brent geese.
As we leave the sheltered harbour, black headed, black backed, herring and common gulls and cormorants are present. When on the water we can see Gannets, Manx Shearwaters, Puffins, Guillemots, Razorbills and Kittiwakes. In late summer and autumn sometimes spot Great, Sooty and Corey’s Shearwater along with Great, Long-tailed, Pomarine and Arctic Skuas.

On most trips throughout summer and autumn, we encounter common dolphins; sometimes large groups of them which are majestic swimming alongside the boat. On rare occasions, we do encounter harbour porpoises also. On a successful day, we may encounter minke, fin or humpback whales.
